Since its registration in 2024, the Global Foundation for Sustainable Community Development (GFSCD) has made significant progress in laying the foundation for sustainable community development across Kenya. To date, the Foundation has established partnerships with 8 schools and 6 community-based organizations. Through its programmes, GFSCD has reached more than 3000+ women, 500 youth, and 600 children across 47 counties through education, school feeding and nutrition, health, sustainable livelihoods, peacebuilding, sports for peace and development, and WASH initiatives.
The Foundation has also trained 100 community leaders and volunteers, supported 6 schools with education and nutrition interventions, and mobilized 10,000 community members to participate in local development initiatives. As GFSCD continues to grow, the Foundation remains committed to expanding its reach, strengthening partnerships, and delivering measurable, evidence-based impact that improves the lives of women, youth, and children while contributing to resilient, inclusive, and sustainable communities across Kenya.
