Our Sports for Peace and Development programme harnesses the positive power of sports to engage youth, promote peaceful coexistence, and deliver vital health and life-skills education.
Sports serve as a universal language. By organizing tournaments, peace camps, and leadership courses, GFSCD channels youth energy into community leadership, discipline, unity, and mutual respect.
We organize youth peace tournaments, establish sports clubs, and integrate health and life-skills education directly into coaching clinics.
Hosting football and athletic tournaments that bring together diverse communities to promote unity and respect.
Training local coaches to mentor youth in discipline, teamwork, sexual health awareness, and drug abuse prevention.
We establish community sports leagues, run seasonal peace camps, and supply sports equipment to schools and clubs.
We run tournaments that gather young people from different regions, using games to break prejudices, build friendships, and celebrate peace.
This approach not only makes our interventions more effective but also empowers communities to take ownership of solutions, fostering trust, engagement, and long-term sustainability.
